This date is more relevant today than ever, considering the daily challenges individuals and businesses face in dealing with cybercrime. It’s an essential campaign for both organisations and the general public, as we are all connected in the digital world.

The theme for Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2024 is "Secure Our World," calling for action to ensure that both individuals and businesses defend themselves in simple yet effective ways against online threats.
Throughout October, various initiatives are held around the world to raise this awareness. At Devoteam Cyber Trust, we are taking this opportunity to explore the theme and reinforce the importance of cybersecurity.

Why is cybersecurity awareness essential?

Cybersecurity has become a priority in the business world. As we grow increasingly dependent on digital technologies, threats also multiply, and each new innovation brings with it potential vulnerabilities that can be exploited by cybercriminals.
It is crucial to understand the importance of cybersecurity and to educate those who are still unaware of the risks associated with inadequate protection.

Therefore, we are presenting the "Devoteam Cyber Trust - Secure Our World" campaign, as part of Cybersecurity Month, with the goal of raising awareness among citizens and organisations about the critical importance of cybersecurity.

The campaign consists of a series of 12 video episodes, each addressing a specific cybersecurity topic. The campaign features a human avatar named Óscar, who symbolises our commitment to humanising technology, offering the audience a personalised and empathetic experience.

In these episodes, Óscar aims to address the questions and concerns of the community and businesses at large, helping them deepen their knowledge and empowering them to take effective and strategic action to protect themselves in an increasingly digital world.
